Invisible Box of Light, 2023

As time determines the materiality or the form that an image takes, its interpretation also invites us to deduce that its invisibility does not mean its absence, it simply does not configure itself within the spectrum of observation. All space is a sensitive material and this piece transits the speculation of the limits of the perceptive field from the configuration of the visible under the terms of human optics. If the darkness of the cosmos is composed by the presence of light that cannot reach it because of the speed with which it moves, the principles on which the visible is based can also be understood from this paradox.
